Spring Photos

Spring is beginning to finally set in after a very cold and we March and April.

.

Leaves are starting to burst out of the tulip tree… Last year later in the summer, aphids took over in a serious way. We were able to pretty well suppress the infestation with ladybugs by the end of summer, so we’re keeping vigilant as the weather turns warm to make sure we can get on treating the aphids as soon as we can.

Growing on the roof: lemons!

Our raspberries have become an unruly pile in the last couple weeks.

.

The over-wintered garlic is enjoying the recent warmth.

Our grapes have started to wake up. Hopefully soon, they will be able to take over our pergola. It might be a couple of years before it gets large enough, but it’ll be exciting to see it grow out more this summer.
