With the onset of spring, and our recent beautiful weather, we have been able to enjoy one of our favorite aspects of the house: Dinners on our ecoroof. We have a small area of pavers sitting amongst ferns, strawberries and camas with a little round table and a lovely view of the neighborhood, downtown, and the sunset. Just about the best way possible to enjoy a warm spring evening.
Summer?

Competition

Work Updates

Second Blower Door Test

This morning we had our second blower door test done… Its not normal to have to get a second test done, but our house doesn’t fit very neatly into the LEED so after being granted a series of appeals, we are getting new performance tests. Read the rest of this entry »
Painting Window Frames

We were able to take advantage of the great weather this weekend to finally paint our window frames and on Monday our contractor had a couple guys come out to paint the windows that require being up on a tall ladder. Read the rest of this entry »
